Sun worshippers, unite. The sun is the biggest star in the center of the solar system and all the planets revolve around it. Many early cultures considered the sun a deity or god; the Egyptians had a sun god named Ra. The sun is the ultimate creative force, no wonder it’s a constant source of design inspiration, not to mention an all-around mood lifter (bring on the vitamin D). Many designers are inspired by the sun as the ultimate energizer as we come out of hibernation. Here are five delights to warm up your body, mind, and soul.

Sun Yellow

Designer Celine Daoust’s takes inspiration from her travels between her home base Jaipur, Paris, and Brussels, showcasing stones found along the way. This necklace is a shining example of her passion for jewelry and spirituality, where the sun, the source of all life on earth, takes center stage.

Soleil Studs

LA-based Elizabeth Stone uses various materials, from superior thick plating and lab-grown stones to 14k gold and cubic zirconia. Merging shells with sparkle, these abalone sun studs represent Elizabeth’s California chic vibe.

Cosmic Sun

Syna means “together,” and that’s what drives Dharmesh & Namrata Kothari’s luxurious jewels. This bracelet represents the painterly way they mix materials: a milky moon quartz sun center surrounded by diamond rays set in high-polished gold.

18k yellow gold, champagne diamonds, and moon quartz “Cosmic Sun” bracelet, $2,850 SYNA

Lapis Pave

Ahead of the layering and healing crystals trends, LA-based designer Jacquie Aiche has always played with nature motifs. This stunning lapis sun necklace reminds me of one of my favorite sun-drenched parts of the world: the Greek isles.
