Go With The Flow

Yin-yangs have circled back

A little circle made up of two swirling halves, one dark, the other light. The symbol was ubiquitous in the ’90s, but dates way back to Ancient China. Yin and yang is a concept of dualism, describing how seemingly opposite forces are complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world. The yin is associated with shadows, passivity, and stillness. The yang represents brightness, passion, and growth. One cannot exist without the other, and they work together to achieve harmonious balance. The latest yin-yang jewelry plays with materials, shapes, color—proving things aren’t always black and white.
