Old School Cool Estate Jewelry
Treasure hunters
Most jewelry stores have a dedicated estate collection filled with an alluring assortment of pre-owned jewels. Many of these pieces are vintage, meaning they are between 50-100 years old, and there may even be a few antiques over 100 years old. When you purchase one of these treasures, you are acquiring a piece of history (heart flutter). Prior to modern technology allowing for mass production, fine jewelry was almost entirely hand fabricated. The amount of intricacy and skilled craftsmanship in vintage and antique jewelry is unlike the majority of jewelry being produced today. A collector’s M.O.: most pieces are one of a kind.
