Get Carrie, Daenerys, and Emily’s scene-stealing jewels
Around this time of year, curling up on the couch for a binge-watch feels just right, especially with juicy new seasons and time-tested favorites begging for a reprise. But the best part isn’t the plot twists and cliffhangers. It’s the distracting jewelry, an endless source of inspiration and discovery, from royal necklaces on The Crown to irresistible bling on Euphoria. Lucky for you, we’ve done the hard part and tracked down some of our top-rated styles.
And Just Like That
When the original episodes of Sex and the City aired in the late `90s, there were plenty of accessories to covet, but perhaps none more so than Carrie’s nameplate necklace (not even her blue satin Manolo’s garnered as much love). With the series reboot, we couldn’t help but wonder: what would Carrie’s new iconic necklace be? (Spoiler alert: It’s this pretty pendant from NYC-based designer Jesse Marlo Lazowski.)

You
Jealousy, obsession, murder, Joe and Love, the protagonists of the hit show You, aren’t exactly great role models. Except when it comes to Love’s jewelry choices. Say what you will about her inability to control her temper, the girl knows her way around laminating a croissant and everyday jewelry, like the necklaces from Gorjana she wears on repeat.
Gorjana “Venice” necklace, $70, and “Parker” necklace, $65 at Gorjana
Mad Men
As Jackie Kennedy once famously said, “Pearls are always appropriate.” Her on-screen contemporaries, the cast of endlessly rewatchable Mad Men, seemingly concur. No character’s wardrobe, whether at work or, in Betty Draper’s case, at the barn, is complete without pearl stud earrings or a classic single strand. Though trendy in the 1950s and early `60s, pearls are a timeless choice, always appropriate.

Game of Thrones
Direwolves and dragons and ravens—oh my. Costume designer Michele Clapton drew inspiration from fearsome fauna and fowl to create epic looks for characters like Daenerys (what fan of the series could forget her iconic choker—excuse us, “neck sculpture”?). If you love the vibe, but not the idea of a statement serpent around your neck, try something more subtle, like these iron-forged diamond earrings from award-winning artist Pat Flynn that combine the elements of fire and “ice.” Fierce.

The Crown
If you expect The Crown, Netflix’s smash hit series portraying the life of Queen Elizabeth II, to showcase fabulous jewels, you won’t be disappointed. Costume designer Amy Roberts worked with London’s Juliette Designs, a company that creates “stage jewelry”—exacting replicas of the British Crown Jewels—for TV, film, and traveling exhibitions to recreate pieces for the show. Want your own Crown jewels? You can buy Juliette Design’s version of the queen’s wedding necklace (identical to the one worn by Clare Foy in the show) here, or opt for Todd Reed’s more modern take.

Euphoria
Amid Euphoria’s deep, dark themes is a surprising bright (and shiny) spot—stunning visuals in the guise of eye makeup like you’ve never seen before. Think neon shadow, glitter, rhinestones, even crystal-dotted brows. Lash-like fringe of spiked gold appliqués may be Jules’s thing, but if you’re after something more wearable, Mignonne Gavigan has just the thing.

Emily In Paris
Everything Patricia Fields (the multi-hyphenate designer-costumer-stylist) touches turns to sartorial gold. Exhibit 1: Sex and the City. Exhibit 2: Emily in Paris. Season two just came out, and while there’s plenty of wardrobe eye candy, it’s the jewelry we can’t tear our gaze from, like this unexpected spin on a classic gold hoop from British brand Ottoman Hands.
