The blinged-out look favored by Tony's better half still sparkles
From one Jersey Girl to another, let me just say: Oh, how I love thee, Carmela Soprano. Your style in all its mob-boss-wife glory still holds up twenty years after you, the hubs and kids, and those backyard ducks first hit HBO's airwaves. Along with an always perfect French mani and non-carnal love affair with hottie Furio, what I remember most about Mrs. S (played brilliantly by Brooklyn-born Edie Falco) is her love of diamonds. Layers upon layers of OMG!-worthy sparklers. Her metal of choice? Classy, white gold.
Whether dressed in a tee or gussied up for special occasions, her jewelry rarely changes. Ears drip with serious ice, wrists are wrapped in tennis bracelets, diamond-encrusted bangles and a trusty Rolex. Stacks of bold and dainty rocks nuzzle her neck while a bling-y wedding set peacocks on her left hand.
You may not want to emulate Carm's gem style in its entirety. But pick and choose wisely, and bada bing! You'll be looking like a million bucks wherever you strut your stuff—i.e. the diner, the mall, or the club.
