Four Elements: Turquoise

What's your birthstone? It's kind of like your birthday but in gorgeous gemstone form. It's something to celebrate. The ancient Greeks believed everything was made of four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. We believe every birthstone month deserves (at least) four jewelry wishes. Happy birthstone!

December’s brilliant blue power stone

Turquoise is one of the oldest gemstones embraced by various civilizations, the most well-known being the Egyptians. They looked to the stone for good fortune and strength. Native Americans use it as a healing stone that can represent strength, skill, or even invincibility. It’s a stone found in everything from statues to jewelry to enhance the item’s power, energy, and meaning.

Bonus: it’s said to be an excellent stone for frequent travelers, as it protects the wearer from accidents and theft. Alongside silver or gold, bold and blue, put on your turquoise for your next journey and enjoy.
