Four Elements: September’s Colorful Sapphires

What's your birthstone? It's kind of like your birthday but in gorgeous gemstone form. It's something to celebrate. The ancient Greeks believed everything was made of four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. We believe every birthstone month deserves (at least) four jewelry wishes. Happy birthstone!

Wise. Balanced. Tough.

Sapphires are second to diamonds for hardness, which makes them highly prized and a solid engagement ring choice—just ask any Royal. Blue sapphires are the most well-known with their deep blue tone; the Catholic church and ancient Persians believed that blue sapphire’s reflection made the sky blue. September’s birthstone also comes in a kaleidoscope of colors just as dazzling, especially when they appear in these awe-inspiring designs.

ARK is rooted in spiritual meanings. The brand’s name represents the initials of designer Ann Rosen Korman and her talisman designs that bring the wearer the strength and brilliancy of a modern goddess. This double-sided spinning necklace features a pink, orange, and yellow sapphire lotus blossom, representing enlightenment.
