Four Elements: Romantic Rubies

What's your birthstone? It's kind of like your birthday but in gorgeous gemstone form. It's something to celebrate. The ancient Greeks believed everything was made of four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. We believe every birthstone month deserves (at least) four jewelry wishes. Happy birthstone!

Ignite love with July’s stone

Sometimes I secretly wish I was born in July so I could collect rubies. I have one ruby and diamond ring that my parents gave me when I was a teenager, and it remains a favorite. I wear it when I want to channel inner strength—fitting because rubies represent nobility, purity, and passion. It's the second hardest stone (right behind diamonds), and it's believed to bring vitality and energy to the body and spirit. Its berry red hue may be an ideal Valentine's Day stone, but why not celebrate love every day in one of these beauties?

EARTH
