Four Elements: Feel-Good Garnets

What's your birthstone? It's kind of like your birthday but in gorgeous gemstone form. It's something to celebrate. The ancient Greeks believed everything was made of four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. We believe every birthstone month deserves (at least) four jewelry wishes. Happy birthstone!

Find health, wealth, and happiness with January’s garnet

January's classic birthstone is the red garnet. Though red is the most well-known, it also comes in a rainbow of colors. It's also a stone that brings self-confidence and mental clarity while relieving depression and guilt. Garnets have been popular throughout history, from pharaohs in Egypt to clergy in the Middle Ages. The name originates from the Latin "granatus," which fittingly means "pomegranate." It's a stone that plays well with others, as you can see from our four favorites.
