Four Elements: February’s Amethyst

What's your birthstone? It's kind of like your birthday but in gorgeous gemstone form. It's something to celebrate. The ancient Greeks believed everything was made of four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. We believe every birthstone month deserves (at least) four jewelry wishes. Happy birthstone!

Peaceful. Calming. Empowering.

Amethyst has calming and empowering properties—a beautiful duality. And if you love purple, it’s your calling. Catherine the Great was a fan, as was Wallis, the Duchess of Windsor (famously known for being a jewelry connoisseur) who wore a magnificent Cartier bib necklace in 1953 to a Versailles gala. The range of what the stone represents lends itself to various styles, from royalty-worthy vintage statements to modern organic styles like these.
